Originating in the Highlands of Scotland in the 1980s, Lawson Glassworks is a small family business, making decorative mirrors and leaded glass panels.  We started on the Isle of Arran on the west coast of Scotland, making small mirrors for the tourist trade, supplementing the income from our croft on the southern tip if the island.  Dylan was trained by his father in the craft, and after spending time as an industrial driving instructor, returned to the craft in his late twenties and excelled at it.  In 2014 he was awarded the title of Master Craftsman.  These days we are based in the historic town of Market Harborough in the rolling countryside of South Leicestershire.  We have a traditional workshop there, and we send the mirrors all over the world.

We can supply a mirror for every moment large or small. Many of our mirrors are created in the style of Charles Rennie Mackintosh (1868-1928), and designs and colours are always evolving to create an exclusive range. They complement both contemporary and classic interiors alike and are a perfect way to bring art into your home. Our small mirrors can be hung anywhere, our larger mirrors can become a focal point of any room.

Each item is lovingly hand crafted in our workshop. We have real pride in our work and ensure that every piece is perfect when it leaves us. You can buy our mirrors from shops and at events all over Britain.

Our main range can be seen in the ‘Shop‘, but if you would like to ask about a one-off commission, please use the ‘Contact Us‘ link. We are also happy to undertake full size windows with expert fitting if required.
